Vendor accepted the order and owes fulfilment.

CANCELLED

Terminal state after the customer or vendor cancelled.

COMPLETED

Terminal success state — fulfilled and settled.

Handed to the customer.

ENROUTE

Handed to a driver and on its way to the customer.

FAILED

Terminal failure state — fulfilment could not be completed.

PENDING

Awaiting the vendor's decision to accept or reject.

PREPARING

Vendor is working on the order.

READY

Ready for pickup or driver handover.

REASSIGNED

The driver handed a ride back before pickup and it went back to finding another driver. The rider never sees an order in this state.

SCHEDULED

Placed, with its requested fulfilment time still in the future. It becomes Pending once the dispatch window for that time opens.
